2005 – 2006
Appointed by Sandton Central Management District and the City to prepare an urban development plan to ‘humanise’ the environment; provide design guidelines to encourage pedestrian movement between different sections of the node; work with other stakeholders to locate the Gautrain station and define the interface between the Gautrain station and existing and proposed public and civic spaces.

The project also looked at the creation of a pedestrian-oriented environment on a street such as Maude Street, where on-street commercial activities could be located
